Tophat # 2

 

So I have this thing for tophats.. don't own any real ones ..yet ..so I decided to make them from paper myself. This is the second one I made the first one you can find over here: http://scraplenet.blogspot.nl/2013/08/tophat-gift-box.html   

As you can see it's not just a hat it's really is a little giftbox. with the top as a lid.

I made it with my silhouette using a cutfile from creations by AR.

there will be more of those comming , thinking about making the one from Hatter and a steampunk one. 

The bling swirls are from want2scrap and the silver piece is an old broche I found in a thrift shop.

Today is a special day! It is Lawnscaping 100th challenge if you can believe it! They are all so excited and wanted to celebrate in an extra special way. One  geeky clean and simple card made for the LawnScaping challenge blog.. I so love these little robots.

However I'm a real shabby girl I do love the clean and simple syle too. It's only very hard to do. I'm used to using al kind of embellies  like lace , ribbon , flowers and stuff like that, and I love going thru my stash in search for the perfect piece to use on my card or project..so you can guess I'm always busy for hours in search for the perfect items to use.  

CAS is fun for shure to but really have a hard time to keep my self in control not to use my usual stuf.  I'm not really good at it but I wil learn.. mean time I will enjoy all the great CAS project others make and dream that maybe someday I will be as good as them ..or a little as good as them. 

I used the Beep Boop Birthday stamp set Let's polka paper pack from Lawn fawn. 

Embossing folder is from Spellbinders M-Bossabilities ES-006.

Hello, today on my birthday I have this card for you .

I made it for this weeks challenge of the CityCrafter Challenge Blog.  an the fusion Card Challenge

Maybe you notice something  about it? I took the picture in my new lighttent/ lightbox I got from my dear hubby today. I am so happy with it ! I was always messing around with cardboard and white cardstock , this is so much prettier and easier. Along came two brightlights so I can make nice pics nomatter what time of the day or what kind of weather it is. One happy crafter over here...
