 Hallo , vandaag heb ik deze tag om te laten zien.

Het is de eerste tag voor de 12 tags of 2019  challenge van de Creatief met Kimya verpakkingen groep op Facebook. 

Hij is gemaakt met restjes van maya design papier.

Hello today I bring you this layout I made for my post on the Maja Design blog.

 

 

I didn’t use one specific collection this time , almost every piece of of paper I used for this layout are leftovers I saved from other projects I made.
Except for the base /background , for this I used Monochromes shades of Celebration -Vintage Teal and  Shades of Sofiero White/Sand.
I always keep every snippet , it’s such a waste to throw away these lovely papers.
I always will find a use for it , Ideal for making cards or a layered layout like this.
You can tuck small pieces behind another pieces and create the illusion of a larger piece that is peeking out from underneath it.
Here I have some close up for you.  The little frames come from the local dollarstore. Doily is made with a doily die from Tim Holtz

The flowers and leaves are from prima and 47 and market , I found the white sitcks in my chrismas decorations.Doily is made with doily die from Prima.

Christmas Greetings

Hier ben ik weer met nog een label. deze heb ik al een aantaldagen terug gemaakt maar vergeten te posten.
 Een kerstlabel dit keer en deze keer gemaakt met restjes  Vintage Frost basics van Maja Design.
De onderkant van de basisheb ik een mooi randje gegeven met een Martha stewart pons.
De rechthoek daarop heb ik uitgestansd met Spellbinders Nestabilities Romantic Rectangles.
Voor de sneeuwvlok heb ik een stans van studiolight gebruikt.

Ik heb met lekker veel laggjes gewerkt . Ik plak ze altijd in het midden vast zodat ik later nog wat embellies zoals kant byvoorbeeld ertussen kan stoppen.

Dit label had ik wederom voor de Vintage and More challenge, gemaakt en ben met deze een van de winnaars geworden.. Gaaf toch?

Ik heb van die werkstukjes die ik ooit lang geleden gemaakt heb en nu eigenlijk een beetje in de weg liggen of gewoon niet zo mooi meer zijn doordat ze altijd ergens gehangen of gestaan hebben en rijpzijn voor de prullenbak. Vaak zitten er op deze werkstukken dan best nog mooie embellies zoals kantjes knoopjes bloemen , swirls noem maar op . Soms zijn ze niet meer te koop en ik vind het gewoon zonde om dit soort dingen weg te gooien.

Dus ik sloop ze eraf en gebruikze weer voor iets nieuws. Zo ook de bloem knoopje lintje kantje parelswirl en de ivoorkleurige bookplate ( hoe noem je het ook al?). Het enige nieuwe op dit label zijn de gouden "zonnetjes" gemaakt met goud cardstock en emboss-stans van TimHoltz. zelfs de pasis van de tag is gemaakt van restjes papier van Iralamija etsyshop.

 Hiermee heb ik dan twee vliegen in een klap.

Mijn eigen Left overchallenge ( maak je restjes op) en ik  heb deze tage gemaakt voor de Vintage and More challenge, een challengegroep op facebook gemaakt..  

 Nou ben ik eigenlijk niet zo'n facebooker, zet er ook zo min mogelijk op , en kijk er ook niet veel, Het is dat je eigenlijk bijna niet zonder kan tegenwoordig omdat alles naar facebook verhuisd of is verhuisd.

Ik vind het  gewoon jammer dat het bloggen steeds minder word en vond de interactie op de forums toch gezelliger en een stuk overzichtelijker.

Ach het zal zn redenen ook wel hebben denk ik?

Ondertussen doe ik gewoon gezellig mee met de challenge en ga nu verder opzoek naar nog een leuke waar ik met mijn shabbychic-stijl uitleven kan.

Heel toevallig kwam ik bij de challenge op de blog van HobbyVision .
ik had meteen ideen bij de sketch en besloot dus om maar mee te gaan doen.

En dit is mijn uitwerking  van de sketch,

 

Ik heb allemaal restjes papier gebruikt in het kader van maak het op, zeg maar. 

Dus weer een projectje voor mijn eigen  left over challenge ook.

Leuk dat je even langs kwam..Als je een berichtje achterlaat kom ik ook even bij jou om je werk bewonderen. 

All Kind of thoughts..

 I love the digital papers of Iralamija ( in case you didn't know yet)  And I never throw away the little scraps and snippets I have left over from making a card or project using this papers. I just can't ... I love them to much.  Only thing is that at a certain point I have a lot of little bits and pieces . These are great for using fun little shabby projects like this little tin with mini album in it. 

For this one I used a tiny peppermint tin it's 2 3/8 inch by 1,5 inch and you can by it at the xenos.. of course you can use an altoidtin as well

The first thing you do is sand it sandpaper , I used the 120 one , than you paint it with an al-purpose primer. I used  Aleene's ( see picture) .
Let it dry thoroughly and than  paint it in your favorite color acrlylicpaint  ( I used ivory from Aleene's) After you let that dry, you can sand it a little to get it a worn look and than you can decorate it with your favorite papers , I used tombow mono multy liquid glue to stick it on the tin, in my opinoin it's better than tacky glue what I use a lot too.
Than you make some little chipboard pages that fit in your tin,decorate with the basis layer ,them and distress the edges

I love my prima distressing tool for this job, I have an oldie from making memories too but that works only on papers.  The one from primamarketing works perfect with thicker objects like chipboard .

As you might have noticed. I like to add a little shimmer to my embellies and frames.
I am a but clumsy if I work with glitter you can find it allover the house and it sticks to my fingers to be short : it's every where besides where I want it. But i found the perfect solution for that . I use a mixture of fine glitter like the sugar coating from Doodlebug and clear embossing powder. I use 1/3 clear embossing powder and 2/3 glitter.
First I color or paint my to glitter object in the color I want it , than I cover it with, in this case versamark watermark ink.. the Perfect medium from Ranger works great too . Actually I prefer that one but it was empty so I used his one it did the job perfectly.
Than dip your to glitter item face down in your mixture , add a little pressure . get it out and heat it with your embossing tool.. taaadaaaa.. a perfect glittered.
I used to make  my mixture in a little bottle, and than pour it over the object using  a tidy tray ( see tutorials)  but found it works better to make the mixture in a container and dip the object in the mixture..less mess.

Tie everything together with I little binding ring or piece of lace, ribbon, string..what ever you want. Or maybe keep them apart like cards and put it in your decorated tin.

I'm not really shure what papers I did use for this project but these are the ones I know for shure.
They are all available at the Iramalija etsy shop. Some of them I printed in a smaller size , and that's just what I like about digital papers : you can print them when ever you want, how you want and how much you want.

Picket fence , Fancy tickets , shabby butterflies , Tape measures , 

sentiments and banners , Vintage strips No.2, expressions No1 , expressions No2.

I'm back!! Had some problems with my blog , had a hard time to log in and when I could it wouldn't publish. Very weird have no idea what was causing it  but what ever it was ,it is fixed and my blog is working again .
I'm a bit late with this one but you still have plenty of time to join us with the latest challenge of Cardabilities. 
Above you see the card I made based on the sketch for this challenge below. I used some leftovers from my MME papers I found in my leftover/snippets-box.

when I was giving my craftroom a makeover  I found I have loads of designpaper and cardstock leftovers , and I just could not throw them away. ( bet a lot a lot of you will recognize it) 

So I set my self a challenge : I have to make at least 1 project / card using only  my cardstock/ designpaper leftovers .This card is the first one . I made it for our friend who made the tabletop for my craftroom..I used  MME leftovers from ^various 6x6 paperpads . Sentiment stamp is from Lawn Fawn
