Making my own stencils aka masks

As you might have noticed I found my way into the artjournalling and mixed media. One of the  things you use for this is a mask or stencil . There are a lot of differend ones from a lot of differend brands. Hard to choose from and if you want t build a nice collection of them it will cost you a lot of money. I thought this can be done cheaper and I am the very lucky owner of a silhouette cameo , so why not cut my own masks right? So I tried cutting them from pagediveders but didn't really like the results , it was not sturdy enough. So now used laminate pouches wich I had run through the laminating machiene..the laminator..and the stencils turn out awsome! the picture shows just a few of the ones I cut out this afternoon..they are nice and sturdy and just as thick as the stencils that you buy in the shop. whoo hoo the laminatepouches I use are very cheap only a few euro's at the Action ( kind of dollarstore ) and the cameo settings I use are knife 9, speed 1 and thickness / pressure33. I won't be able to use this knife for cutting paper again but who cares! I got some great stencils now..

Week cards

The result  of a day playing with my silhoutte  a rainbow of collors with 52 week cards ready to alter for my project life.  Yes.. I'm going to give it a second change. Never finished the one from last year but this year I will. Difference this time is I start at the beginning of the new year so hope it'will be easier to keep it up till the end..
Mean while I'm still working on my december daily too so I'm busy busy busy in my craftroom again and I love it.. Now I want a bigger room so I have space to leave my DD and my PL and don't have to clean up everything when I want to work on something else.. especiallly a seperate place or spot to leave my PL would be very nice. Well maybe if I win the lottery..meanwile I keep dreaming of a big craftroom.
The cutting file for these cards can be found in the silhouettestore.

Happy Birthday giftcard.

I made this giftcard for the challenge of the Dutch Cardlovers #197 . Because the back of the cards are most of the time pretty boring they asked us to make a card with a nice front and back.
Beatrice just had some gorgeous new backgrounds in her etsy shop Iramalija that I simply could not resist and I yoused them for this giftcard. The card has two pockets on the inside . One for money and In the otherone I put a little notecard for a personal message.
The giftcard is a cutfile from the silhouettestore.

Silly Handbag..

I made this little handbag with a free  cutting file from SGVCUTS .I soooo love their files ! They are very detailed and of very good quality..not that I made much of them yet , but you can tell just looking at the pictures and at the fileswhen youload them in your silhoutte studio. I'm not an expert but even I can tell.  I have a long wish list and already bought some files at the SGVcuts store so more projects to come . Now the only thing I need is more time ..wouldn't you love it when we have a few more crafting-only-hours in a day? I'm shure I would.
Papers I used are from Prima Marketing , pearls from want2scrap.

Think maybe  I need another one , for organizing the weeks I'm behind.
